As an Engineering Lead at Dynamit, you will focus primarily, but not exclusively on the Java 8 or ASP.NET MVC application framework. You will work with designers, solutions architects, solution delivery managers, other developers, QA specialists, and even clients themselves to help deliver high quality applications that solve the business needs of the client. You will be expected to understand the problem being solved and be able to think critically about the solution to help deliver an excellent product. For Java projects you will be work with Tomcat/JSP/MySQL web applications on Spring Boot. Experience with Spring Boot is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8+ years experience building rich data-driven web applications
  • Understanding of REST, Microservices, and Amazon AWS a bonus
  • Languages/Framework: Minimum of ASP.NET 4, C# or Languages: Java EE, HTML(5), CSS(3), Javascript (JQuery preferred), AJAX, JSON, and XML
  • Web Platform: ASP.NET, MVC 4 or Web platform: JCR, SOA, Spring DI, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Tomcat and design patterns.
  • Development tools/IDE: Visual Studio 2015, SQL Server Management Studio, IntelliJ
  • Databases: understanding of RDBMS with experience using Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL and/or Oracle
  • Docker and Jenkins experience a bonus
  • Front end HTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery preferred), Ajax, Json/XML
  • Object-oriented development
  • Formalized QA/testing and revision-based development
  • Version Control - Git/SVN
  • WCM experience desired
  • Experience accurately estimating development and/or project timelines
  • Ability to write clear, web-standard, well documented code
  • Track record working within team environment inclusive of designers, peer developers and business/requirements team
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience implementing complex website and application interface designs
  • Outstanding communication skills - team and client
